Munich and its surrounding areas offer many great hiking opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts. Here are some popular hiking spots in and around Munich:

Isar River: The Isar River is a popular spot for hiking and biking, with many trails running alongside the river. One of the most scenic routes is the Isar River Trail, which runs from the city center to the town of Wolfratshausen.

Munich Stadtwald: Munich Stadtwald, or city forest, is a large forested area within the city limits of Munich. There are many hiking trails throughout the forest, including the popular Forstenrieder Park Trail.

Bavarian Alps: The Bavarian Alps are located just south of Munich and offer many great hiking trails with stunning views of the mountains. Popular hiking spots include the Zugspitze, Germany’s highest mountain, and the Partnach Gorge.
